A better quality of life
Rehabilitation means reshaping lives and restoring lost abilities after an illness or injury. It means treating the whole patient: physically, emotionally, and socially. In rehabilitation the goal is to return patients to their optimum level of function so they may have a better quality of life.
Our Short Term Rehab program treats a wide variety of conditions resulting from illness or injury. From orthopaedic injuries, joint replacements, and stroke/neurological conditions to general recuperation and strengthening after a lengthy hospital stay.
Some of the features of our program include:
- Expertly trained staff chosen by our interdisciplinary rehab team
- Home evaluations to assist with the transition back to home for safety assurance
- Patient and family education
- The goal is to help patients achieve their optimum level of function and return them to independent life.
Our objectives range from restoring lost abilities and function, to helping residents adapt and accept changes in their lives.
